According to the French site iPhoneSoft, Apple will not reduce the list of supported devices for the operating version of iOS 14, which will be released this fall.
The full list of iPhone and iPods that will receive an upgrade to iOS 14 is as follows:

iPhone XS / XS Max
iPhone 8/8 Plus
iPhone 7/7 Plus
iPhone 6S / 6S Plus
iPod touch (7th generation)
As for the iPad line, the support for iPadOS 14 will bypass iPad mini 4 2015 and iPad Air 2, introduced in October 2014, writes iPhoneSoft. These devices run on Apple A8 and A8X chips.

iPhoneSoft has no details about the features of iOS 14. It is assumed that an update to the operating system is officially announced during WWDC 2020 in June.
